A sub-assembly of a pump device comprising a housing comprising a chamber extending along a longitudinal axis. The chamber comprises an inlet and an outlet. Both the inlet and the outlet are open in a direction transverse to the longitudinal axis. The inlet is configured to be fluidly connected to a medicament container. The housing comprises a wall extending in the direction transverse to the longitudinal axis. The sub-assembly of the pump device further comprises a first piston and a second piston. Both the first piston and the second piston are at least partially arranged within the chamber and fluid-tightly engaged with the chamber between the inlet of the chamber and the outlet of the chamber. The first piston is lined up with the second piston along the longitudinal axis. The sub-assembly of the pump device further comprises a control mechanism configured to cause the first piston and the second piston to be selectively moved together or moved relative to one another. La présente invention concerne un sous-ensemble d'un dispositif de pompe comprenant un logement comportant une chambre s'étendant le long d'un axe longitudinal. La chambre comprend une entrée et une sortie. L'entrée et la sortie sont toutes deux ouvertes dans une direction transversale à l'axe longitudinal. L'entrée est conçue pour être en communication fluidique avec un contenant de médicament. Le logement comprend une paroi s'étendant dans la direction transversale à l'axe longitudinal. Le sous-ensemble du dispositif de pompe comprend en outre un premier piston et un second piston. Le premier piston et le second piston sont tous deux au moins partiellement disposés à l'intérieur de la chambre et mis en prise de manière étanche aux fluides avec la chambre entre l'entrée de la chambre et la sortie de la chambre. Le premier piston est aligné avec le second piston le long de l'axe longitudinal. Le sous-ensemble du dispositif de pompe comprend en outre un mécanisme de commande conçu pour amener le premier piston et le second piston à être sélectivement déplacés ensemble ou déplacés l'un par rapport à l'autre.
