A treadmill according to the present invention is a treadmill comprising a housing and a ball member to allow a user to walk or run in 360° directions, wherein the housing includes a ball member rotatably installed in 360° directions inside the housing and having a portion installed to protrude to the outside of the housing, a pair of rotation detection units installed to be in contact with the outer circumferential surface of the ball member and located orthogonal to each other to detect the rotation of the ball member in the x-axis and the y-axis direction and generate a rotation signal, and a control unit for receiving the rotation signal of the ball member sensed by the rotation detection unit to calculate the rotational speed of the ball member. Le tapis roulant selon la présente invention comprend un logement et un élément sphérique pour permettre à l'utilisateur de marcher ou de courir dans des directions à 360°, le logement comprenant en son intérieur un élément sphérique monté pour pouvoir tourner dans des directions à 360° et dont une partie fait saillie à l'extérieur du logement, deux unités de détection de rotation montées pour être en contact avec la surface circonférentielle externe de l'élément sphérique et situées perpendiculaires l'une à l'autre pour détecter la rotation de l'élément sphérique dans les directions d'axe x et y et générer un signal de rotation, ainsi qu'une unité de commande destinée à recevoir le signal de rotation de l'élément sphérique détecté par l'unité de détection de rotation afin de calculer la vitesse de rotation de l'élément sphérique. 본 발명은 360°방향으로 걷거나 뛸 수 있는 트레드밀에 관한 것으로, 종래의 하우징 내 모터에 의해 전후방향 회전하는 벨트를 볼부재로 대체하여 볼부재 상 및/또는 볼부재 내에서 360°방향으로 걷거나 달리는 것이 가능한 360°방향으로 걷거나 뛸 수 있는 트레드밀에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 트레드밀은, 하우징과 볼부재를 포함하여 360°방향으로 걷거나 뛸 수 있는 트레드밀이며, 상기 하우징은, 상기 하우징 내부에서 360°방향으로 회전 가능하게 설치되며 일부분이 상기 하우징 외부로 돌출되도록 설치되는 볼부재, 상기 볼부재의 외주면에 접하도록 설치되며, 서로 직교하도록 위치하여 상기 볼부재의 x축 및 y축 방향의 회전을 감지하여 회전신호를 생성하는 한 쌍의 회전감지부 및 상기 회전감지부로부터 감지된 상기 볼부재의 회전신호를 수신하여 상기 볼부재의 회전 속도를 연산하는 제어부를 포함한다.
