According to the present disclosure, disclosed is a method by which an electronic device provides information, comprising the steps of: obtaining information about a whole target process quantity for a distribution process; identifying information about one or more distribution process types processed during the distribution process and one or more distribution tasks required to process a specific distribution process type from among the one or more distribution process types; obtaining information about the recommended number of workers for each distribution task included in the one or more distribution tasks and information about a work amount balance ratio between the one or more distribution tasks, on the basis of the information about the whole target process quantity and information about the specific distribution process type; and providing task management information including the information about the recommended number of workers and the information about the work amount balance ratio.
