The marine degradable polyester resin composition of the present invention, which is a resin composition comprising mainly a polyester and containing a phosphite degradation accelerator, is characterized in that the phosphite degradation accelerator is a compound represented by chemical formula (I). Furthermore, it is preferred that the phosphite degradation accelerator is a dialkyl pentaerythritol diphosphite, that the polyester resin composition is an aliphatic polyester, or that the polyester resin composition is poly-L-lactic acid or poly-D-lactic acid having an optical purity of 90% or higher. The polyester resin molded body of the present invention is characterized by being made of the aforesaid marine degradable polyester resin composition.
