Abstract | Embodiments of the present application provide a transmission method and apparatus. The method comprises: a first network device generates first information, the first information being used for indicating at least one codebook and a weighting coefficient matrix corresponding to the at least one codebook, and the at least one codebook and the weighting coefficient matrix corresponding to the at least one codebook being used for determining a first beamforming matrix; and the first network device sends the first information to a second network device. On the basis of the present application, the first network device sends the first information, rather than the beamforming matrix, to the second network device, such that the amount of data sent by the first network device to the second network device can be reduced.
