Abstract | Electronic eyeglasses (1), comprising a front (2) and a pair of temples (3) respectively connected to the front by means of hinges (5) and further comprising a flexible cable (6) adapted to be incorporated within the front (2), in order to carry data signals and/or power to the temples (3), the flexible cable extending at least to nose pads (2a, 2b) and/or to at least one rim region (2c) of the front (2), the flexible cable (6) forming at least one active region (6a, 6b, 6c) at the nose pads (2a, 2b) and/or the rim (2c) which is adapted to act as a capacitive sensor in order to detect gestures on the part of the user.
