Abstract A quantum circuit is presented. The quantum circuit includes a polarization dependent coupler optically coupled to a quantum source and a fiber loop, a polarization controller optically coupled to the fiber loop, wherein the polarization controller is configured to switch a polarization of a photon traversing the fiber loop, and a detector coupler optically coupled to the fiber loop and optically coupled to a photon detector.
