Summary: | Disclosed are an alignment method and alignment apparatus for a display device, and a vehicle-mounted display system, relating to the field of image processing. The alignment method comprises: determining a line-of-sight focusing area of a user in a target vehicle; acquiring a captured image collected by a first camera in respect of an original scene, and extracting an entity identification point in the captured image; by means of a pre-obtained calibration parameter, determining a two-dimensional image mapping relationship between the captured image and a virtual image in a current field of view of the user, the virtual image being an image to be projected by the display device; and projecting the entity identification point into the virtual image according to the two-dimensional image mapping relationship, a virtual marking object in the virtual image being aligned with a physical reference object in the line-of-sight focusing area.
