Abstract | The present invention relates to a hydration heat reducer composed of a hydration heat reducing aid and a curing accelerator, the hydration heat reducing aid containing strontium hydroxide octahydrate (Sr(OH)2·8H2O), silicon oxide (SiO2), calcium hydroxide (Ca(OH)2), and aluminum oxide (Al2O3), wherein the hydration heat reducer, compared with a conventional hydration heat reducer, provides higher initial strength and less initial deformation during concrete construction, leading to improved workability.
