Abstract | A secondary battery according to the present invention comprises a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and an electrolyte solution that includes a carboxylic acid ester represented by formula (1) and a carbamic acid ester compound represented by formula (2). (1) R1-C(=O)-O-R2 (R1 and R2 are each an alkyl group. The carbon number of R1 is 1 to 3, and the sum of the carbon number of R1 and the carbon number of R2 is 3 to 5.) (2) R3-NH-C(=O)-O-R4 (R3 and R4 are each an alkyl group. The sum of the carbon number of R3 and the carbon number of R4 is 2 to 6.)
