Abstract This compressor comprises: a compressor unit (100) including a compressor main body for compressing a gas, and a motor for driving the compressor main body; and a control device (180) for performing number control of a plurality of the compressor units (100). The plurality of compressor units (100) are connected to the same pipeline (105). The control device (180) executes commissioning processing by activating the compressor units that are not subject to number control, while continuing the number control of the compressor units that are subjected to number control. Ce compresseur comprend : une unité de compression (100) comportant un corps principal de compression permettant la compression d'un gaz et un moteur permettant l'entraînement du corps principal de compression ; et un dispositif de régulation (180), permettant d'effectuer une régulation numérique d'une pluralité d'unités de compression (100). La pluralité d'unités de compression (100) sont reliées à la même conduite (105).
