Abstract | This sensor element 20 is provided with an element body 60, an upper connector electrode arranged on a first surface 60a of the element body 60, and a protective layer 80 covering at least the front end side of the first surface 60a. The protective layer 80 has a first specific protective layer 92 with a thickness T1 of 10 μm or less, and the ratio T1/T2 of the thickness T1 and the thickness T2 of a front part 88 which is the front part of the first specific protective layer 92 in the protective layer 80 is 1.0 or less.
