Abstract | This invention relates to a system and method for measuring vital body signs. The method comprises time synchronising a sequence of RGB and NIR images, detecting region of interest within the sequence of RGB and NIR images, extracting raw signals from the detected region of interest, extracting photoplethysmography (PPG) signals from the raw signals and estimating vitals of the person from the extracted PPG signals.
