Abstract | An optical sensor (100) comprises an array of pixels, wherein each pixel comprises a photodiode (111) configured to receive an optical signal and a floating node (113) coupled to the photodiode (111). At least one sensing path (114) is capacitively coupled to the floating node (113) of at least one of the pixels (110). An evaluation unit (115) is coupled to the at least one sensing path (114) to generate an electrical signal (CTRL) dependent on the optical signal received by the photodiode (111).
