Abstract | A method of treating a tooth of a patient includes introducing an oxidizing composition into an oral cavity of the patient such the oxidizing composition contacts the tooth. The method further includes introducing an oral care composition into the oral cavity such that the oral care composition contacts the tooth, wherein the oral care composition comprises an iodide or thiocyanate.
