Abstract The present invention is relative to the use of a composition comprising at least one mineral filler having properties of absorption and/or emission in the far infrared region ranging from wavelength of 2 micrometers to 20 micrometers dispersed in a marine biodegradable polymeric composition for improving marine biodegradability of said marine biodegradable polymeric composition. La présente invention concerne l'utilisation d'une composition comprenant au moins une charge minérale possédant des propriétés d'absorption et/ou d'émission dans la région de l'infrarouge lointain d'une longueur d'onde de 2 micromètres à 20 micromètres, dispersée dans une composition polymère à biodégradabilité marine pour améliorer la biodégradabilité marine de ladite composition polymère à biodégradabilité marine.
