Abstract | An indoor unit (10), an outdoor unit (20), a thermostat (30) and a method for controlling the communication of an air conditioner. The indoor unit (10) comprises: an indoor unit housing (101); an indoor main control module (102) arranged in the indoor unit housing (101) and used to send parameters of the indoor unit; and an indoor communication module (102) connected to the indoor main control module (102), wherein the indoor communication module is used to generate a first high-frequency signal containing the parameters of the indoor unit on the basis of the parameters of the indoor unit and to load the first high-frequency signal onto an original power communication line so as to send the parameters of the indoor unit.
