Abstract | In the present invention, an acquisition unit of a management unit (30) acquires observation data including the voltages and/or the states of charge (SOC) of a plurality of storage battery packs (20) connected in parallel. A switching control unit is capable of individually controlling a plurality of switches so as to be on or off, on the basis of the difference in voltage between the plurality of storage battery packs (20) or the difference in SOC between the plurality of storage battery packs (20). A capacity calculation unit, when calculating the capacity of all of the plurality of storage battery packs (20), additionally considers the capacity of the storage battery packs (20) connected to switches that are off in cases in which there is a possibility that the switch will be controlled to be on in the near future.
