This display device comprises: a display panel that displays video; a plurality of light sources that are arranged in a first direction orthogonal to the normal direction of the display panel; a light-guiding panel that has an emission surface on which light from the plurality of light sources is incident and from which the light is emitted toward the display panel; and a first optical member that is disposed between the display panel and the light-guiding panel, and has a first surface facing the emission surface of the light-guiding panel, a second surface located on the reverse side of the first surface and facing the display panel, and a cylindrical lens array provided on the second surface.
