Abstract A system for laminating an optical film to a windshield is provided. The optical film includes an optically clear adhesive disposed on a bottom surface thereof. The system includes a clamping arrangement including a plurality of clamps for holding the optical film along an outer periphery thereof. Each of the plurality of clamps is adapted to apply a tension on the optical film. The system also includes a fixture including a support structure for supporting the windshield thereon. A shape of an upper surface of the support structure is similar to a shape of the windshield. The system further includes a pressing mechanism adapted to provide contact between the optical film and the windshield such that the optical film conforms to the shape of the windshield based on the tension applied on the optical film. Further, the optically clear adhesive is adapted to bond the optical film with the windshield. La présente invention concerne un système permettant de stratifier un film optique sur un pare-brise. Le film optique comprend un adhésif optiquement transparent disposé sur sa surface inférieure.
