Abstract User equipment according to the invention is provided with: a transmission unit that uses a preset uplink resource to transmit signals to a base station apparatus; a reception unit that receives signals from the base station apparatus; and a control unit that activates or reactivates a predetermined timer in response to reception of the signals from the base station apparatus.
