Abstract | A heat insulation and protection device for a strip steel continuous annealing furnace. The heat insulation and protection device is provided on gaps formed between two sides of a furnace roller (2) and a furnace wall (1) of the annealing furnace, and comprises two first support seats (3), two second support seats (4), a first support tube (5), a second support tube (6), a first heat insulation pad (7), a second heat insulation pad (8), water pumps (9) and refrigeration boxes (10). The leakage of hot air from the furnace is reduced by reducing the gaps between the furnace roller and the furnace wall, and the hot air is prevented, by utilizing the heat insulation performance of the heat insulation pads, from flowing to the bearing and the bottom of the furnace roller, so that the temperature in the annealing furnace is maintained, and the temperature of the lower part of the furnace roller is greatly reduced, not hindering the maintenance operation of workers below the furnace roller; and the temperatures of t |
