Abstract A joint member (100) is provided with a nut (70) and a cylindrical member (80). The nut (70) comprises a female thread section (73) fastened to a male thread section (62) of a joint body (61), and piping (12) is inserted in said nut (70). The cylindrical member (80) is arranged in a space (S) surrounded by the joint body (61), the nut (70), and the piping (12). A tip section of the joint body (61) comprises a first tapered surface (63) that narrows toward the tip thereof. The cylindrical member (80) comprises a second tapered surface (81) that presses against the first tapered surface (63). A joint seal member (83) for sealing the interval between the second tapered surface (81) and the first tapered surface (63) is provided to the second tapered surface (81).
