Abstract Provided in the present document are a data transmission method and a device, the data transmission method comprising: acquiring information on data to be transmitted from a cloud terminal and cloud terminal information; according to the cloud terminal information, determining whether a network of the cloud terminal is limited; and when it is determined that the network of the cloud terminal is limited, sending the data to be transmitted to the cloud terminal via a pre-established connection between a cloud host and the cloud terminal.
