Abstract | [Problem] To provide a novel and improved optical body, lighting device, and image display device that make it possible to improve uniform light distribution properties. [Solution] One aspect of the present invention provides an optical body in which a composite structure of a principal structure is continuously spread out within the plane of a substrate. The optical body is characterized in that the phase distribution of the principal structure within the plane of the substrate corresponds to an amplitude distribution that is obtained by performing a Fourier transform on a pupil function for a two-dimensional optical aperture. The optical body is also characterized by having a peak ratio value of no more than 2.5.
Le problème à résoudre dans le cadre de la présente invention est de fournir un corps optique novateur et amélioré, un dispositif d'éclairage et un dispositif d'affichage d'image qui permettent d'améliorer les propriétés de distribution de lumière uniforme. Un aspect de la présente invention porte sur un corps optique dans lequel une structure composite d'une structure principale est étalée en continu à l'intérieur du plan d'un substrat. Le corps optique est caractérisé en ce que la distribution de phase de la structure principale dans le plan du substrat correspond à une distribution d'amplitude qui est obtenue en effectuant une transformée de Fourier sur une fonction de pupille pour une ouverture optique bidimensionnelle. Le corps optique est également caractérisé en ce qu'il présente une valeur de rapport de pic inférieure ou égale à 2,5.
