Summary: | A washing and/or drying machine ( 10) has a drum (14) for receiving laundry (40) to be washed and/or dried. A sound generator (30) generates sound which is directed at the laundry (40). A sound receiver (32) receives sound generated by the sound generator (30) and that is reflected and/or transmitted by said laundry (40), and outputs corresponding output signals. A controller (22) controls the sound generator (30) to generate sound and receives output signals from the or each sound receiver (32). The controller (22) determines the laundry material in accordance with the acoustic properties of the laundry (40) based on at least the output signals received from the or each sound receiver (32).
L'invention concerne une machine à laver et/ou à sécher (10), comportant un tambour (14) destiné à recevoir du linge (40) à laver et/ou à sécher. Un générateur de son (30) génère un son qui est dirigé vers le linge (40). Un récepteur de son (32) reçoit le son généré par le générateur de son (30) et qui est réfléchi et/ou transmis par ledit linge (40), et émet des signaux correspondants. Un dispositif de commande (22) amène le générateur de son (30) à produire un son et reçoit les signaux de sortie du ou des récepteurs de son (32). Le dispositif de commande (22) détermine le matériau de linge conformément aux propriétés acoustiques du linge (40), au moins sur la base des signaux de sortie reçus du ou des récepteurs de son (32). |
