L'invention concerne des processus de séparation solide/liquide utilisant un filtre à larges pores. Un aspect de l'invention concerne un processus consistant à filtrer un mélange solide/liquide d'une collection de particules d'acide carboxylique aromatique solide dans un solvant dans une première zone d'un appareil de filtre à pression rotative pour former un gâteau de filtre sur une surface de filtre, et retirer le gâteau de filtre de la surface de filtre.
