The purpose of the present invention is to provide a container and a cap that keep liquid from being left behind. Provided is a container that comprises: a container body that houses contents; and a cap that is installed on the container body. The cap comprises a discharge port part and a piston. The piston: opens the discharge port part by receding from the discharge port part in association with an increase in the internal pressure of the container body; and obstructs the discharge port part by moving toward the discharge port part in association with a decrease in the internal pressure.
