The present invention provides a brittle material processing liquid composition which contains (A) water and (B) an additive mixture, and which is configured such that: the component (B) contains (B-1) a nonionic surfactant that has an HLB value of from 4 to 11 (inclusive) and is composed of an alkylene oxide addition product of an alcohol that has 10-24 carbon atoms (inclusive), and (B-2) a copolymer of ethylene oxide and an alkylene oxide other than ethylene oxide; the content of the component (B-1) is from 0.9% by mass to 88.0% by mass (inclusive) based on the total amount (100% by mass) of the component (B); the content of the component (B-2) is from 0.9% by mass to 96.0% by mass (inclusive) based on the total amount (100% by mass) of the component (B); and the total content of the components (B-1) and (B-2) is 83.0% by mass or more based on the total amount (100% by mass) of the component (B). This brittle material processing liquid composition has excellent lubricity, low-foaming properties and waste disposability.
