Abstract | With respect to a display device (2) according to the present invention, a planarization film (21) comprises a first flat part (21a) and a second flat part (21b) that has a smaller film thickness than the first flat part (21a), and is configured such that: a first electrode (22) and a metal layer (40) are electrically connected to each other via a contact hole (CH) that is formed in the first flat part (21a); and at least a part of the second flat part (21b) overlaps with a first opening of an edge cover (23).
