Abstract One embodiment of this invention is a charge-transport polymer comprising: a molecular chain; and a terminal group which binds to said molecular chain. The terminal group includes a terminal group P including a polymerizable functional group and a terminal group B which includes an aromatic hydrocarbon group substituted by a branched or annular substituent. With regard to the carbon atoms which make up the ring of hydrocarbon groups, if the number of the carbon atom which binds to the molecular chain is set to 1 and numbers are assigned in order to the adjoining carbon atoms, the branched or annular substituent is bonded to 1+2n (where n is an integer of 1 or more) carbon atoms. Un mode de réalisation de l'invention concerne un polymère à transport de charges, comprenant : une chaîne moléculaire; et un groupe terminal se liant à ladite chaîne moléculaire.
