Abstract Provided are a method and apparatus for determining a path loss. The method comprises: measuring the received power of a signal sent by a network device; determining the sending power of the signal according to preconfiguration information, wherein the preconfiguration information is used for indicating a correlation between a plurality of signals and a sending power, and the sending power of some or all of the signals in the plurality of signals is different, and the signal is one of the plurality of signals; and determining a path loss according to the received power of the signal and the sending power of the signal.
