The display control device (100), which controls a display device to superpose a driver-supporting image onto a real video of scenery from the driver's seat of the vehicle or a real video ahead of the vehicle and displays the superposed video, is provided with: a real video acquisition unit (6); a vehicle location acquisition unit (1); a feature data acquisition unit (2) which acquires feature data related to a road ahead of the vehicle; a drivable lane determination unit (3) which determines a lane on which the vehicle can be driven on the road ahead of the vehicle; a video signal generation unit (4) which generates a video signal that allows the driver-supporting image to be superposed onto the drivable lane and displayed so as to avoid an object overlapping the road surface in the real video of the scenery from the driver's seat of the vehicle or in the real video ahead of the vehicle; and a video signal output unit (5), wherein the driver-supporting image has a width in the width direction of the lane and is extended in a direction in which a lane extends.
