A liquid crystal display device 10 is provided with: a liquid crystal panel 11 having a display region AA and a center-side non-display region CNAA disposed in the center of the display region AA; a polarizing plate 12 disposed on an outer surface of the liquid crystal panel 11; a panel-side curved outer form part 15 and a polarizing-plate-side curved outer form part 20 as portions of the outer forms of the liquid crystal panel 11 and the polarizing plate 12, respectively; a panel-side linear outer form part 16 and a polarizing-plate-side linear outer form part 21 as portions of the outer forms of the liquid crystal panel 11 and the polarizing plate 12, respectively; and an alignment mark 22 having a linear index part 23 configured in a linear shape and provided to the polarizing plate 12, the planar shape of the alignment mark 22 being parallel to the panel-side linear outer form part 16 and the polarizing-plate-side linear outer form part 21, and a reference point 24 overlapping the linear index part 23, the alignment mark 22 being positioned so as to be superimposed on the center-side non-display region CNAA.
