Abstract | An explosion-proof robot (1) is provided with: a first explosion-proof casing (21); a first electric component that is housed inside the first explosion-proof casing (21); a main controller (23) that is housed inside the first explosion-proof casing (21) and controls the first electric component; at least one external device (3) that is set outside the first explosion-proof casing (21); and a transmission unit (25) that is housed inside the first explosion-proof casing (21) and is capable of transmitting an electric signal between the external device (3) and at least the first electric component or the main controller (23).
