Abstract A same-direction preceding vehicle travel information-based method and system for emergency situation early warning. The early warning method comprises: node modules mounted on individual vehicles acquire location information of the corresponding individual vehicles and at least one type of vehicle data; the node modules respectively upload the location information and the at least one type of vehicle data to a cloud server; the cloud server produces, on the basis of the location information, the relative locations of multiple individual vehicles traveling in a same direction on a same road; the cloud server generates feedback information on the basis of the vehicle data and transmits the feedback information to the node module of the vehicle data on the basis of which the feedback information is generated and to the node modules of all the individual vehicles traveling in a same direction on a same road behind the individual vehicle corresponding to the node module.
