Disclosed in the present invention are a method and apparatus for selecting a transmission resource for streaming data. The method comprises: selecting at least one transmission node for current streaming data from a current transmission node cluster; according to a current load of the pre-obtained selected transmission node, pre-estimating an actual load of the transmission node for coping with a scheduling node cluster; and correcting the selected transmission node according to the actual load.
