Abstract A display control method for a side sliding interface, comprising: acquiring a first sliding speed of a slide touch-control point in real time, wherein the slide touch-control point acts on an arbitrary position on the side sliding interface, and the first sliding speed contains a first sliding rate and a first sliding direction; calculating a second sliding rate corresponding to a menu page and a third sliding rate corresponding to a main page according to the first sliding rate, and determining a side sliding direction corresponding to the menu page and the main page according to the first sliding direction; and controlling the menu page and the main page to respectively slide at the second sliding rate and at the third sliding rate correspondingly in the side sliding direction.
