Abstract | The neutron grid according to the present invention is provided with: a grid part having a plurality of spacers for transmitting at least a portion of first neutrons passing through an object, and a plurality of absorbers for absorbing at least a portion of second neutrons scattered by the object, the spacers and the absorbers being arranged in alternating fashion along a first direction, and extending along a second direction intersecting with the first direction; and a pair of cover members for holding the grid part along a third direction intersecting with the first direction and the second direction, and transmitting at least a portion of the first neutrons and at least a portion of the second neutrons. The difference in the coefficient of thermal expansion between the spacers and the absorbers is ±9×10-6/°C or less, or the Young's modulus of the spacers is 100 GPa or greater.
