Abstract To develop and provide a method for easily and accurately differentiating whether the tumor of an esophageal cancer patient is esophageal basaloid carcinoma or another esophageal cancer. Provided is a method for assisting in differentiating whether esophageal basaloid carcinoma has been contracted, in which: measurements are made of the expression level of esophageal basaloid carcinoma markers in samples collected from a subject and from a healthy person or a group of healthy persons; and, on the basis of the resulting measurement values, an assessment is made that there is a high likelihood that subject has contracted esophageal basaloid carcinoma. L'invention fournit un procédé qui identifie de manière simple et sûre si la tumeur d'un patient atteint d'un cancer de l'œsophage est un carcinome basaloïde cellulaire de l'œsophage ou un autre cancer de l'œsophage. Plus précisément, l'invention fournit un procédé aidant à l'identification du développement du carcinome basaloïde cellulaire de l'œsophage selon lequel le niveau d'expression d'un marqueur du carcinome basaloïde cellulaire de l'œsophage contenu dans des échantillons prélevés chez un sujet et chez une personne en bonne santé ou un groupe de personnes en bonne santé, est mesuré, et la probabilité que le sujet développe le carcinome basaloïde cellulaire de l'œsophage, est jugée élevée sur la base des valeurs de mesure ainsi obtenues. 食道癌患者の腫瘍が食道類基底細胞癌か他の食道癌かを容易かつ正確に鑑別する方法を開発し、提供する。 被験者及び健常者又は健常者群から採取された試料中の食道類基底細胞癌マーカーの発現レベルを測定して、得られた測定値に基づいて、被験者が食道類基底細胞癌に罹患している可能性が高いと判定する食道類基底細胞癌の罹患鑑別を補助する方法を提供する。
