Provided is an outdoor unit of an air conditioner, and for the outdoor unit, damage due to the freezing of rainwater or the like is prevented. To achieve the foregoing, the outdoor unit is provided with a propeller fan and a bell mouth disposed around the propeller fan. The bell mouth has a stepped section (402) which enlarges in a step-wise manner toward a blow direction of the propeller fan. Each section of the inner surface of the stepped section (402) has, with respect to a horizontal plane, an inclination angle (angle of θ or more) such that adhered water droplets flow downward. More specifically, the stepped section (402) has a blowout opening that opens upward, and has a plurality of substantially annular plate-shaped annular sections (404) having an inclination angle (θ), and a plurality of cylindrical sections (406) joined to said annular sections (404).
