A vehicle driving assistance apparatus according to an embodiment comprises: a camera for obtaining an image of the front side of a vehicle; and a processor for obtaining information on a front side vehicle from the front side image, calculating on the basis of the front side vehicle information an area in which a slipstream by the front side vehicle is generated, and determining the traveling position of the vehicle within the slipstream area.
