Abstract Provided are: an image processing device capable of ensuring sufficient performance to detect an abnormal part; an image processing method; and a program. The image processing device 1 is provided with: a candidate abnormal region detection unit 10 for detecting a candidate abnormal region in an intraluminal image of a living body on the basis of the outline edge of a mucosal wall or the surface geometry of the mucosal wall; and an abnormal region specification unit 11 for specifying an abnormal region on the basis of texture information of the candidate abnormal region. La présente invention concerne : un dispositif de traitement d'image capable de garantir des performances suffisantes pour détecter une partie anormale ; un procédé de traitement d'image ; et un programme.
