Abstract Described herein are apparatuses and methods for providing communication in multiple frequencies in a multiband Ethernet over Coax (EoC) system. An exemplary method comprises the steps of: transmitting a first data packet on a first channel associated with a first frequency from the first device to the second device, the first channel providing two-way transmission (291) between the first device (210) and the second device (250); and transmitting a second data packet on at least one second channel associated with at least one second frequency from the first device to the second device, the at least one second channel providing one-way transmission (293,294,295) from the first device (210) and the second device (250). L'invention concerne des appareils et des procédés permettant de fournir une communication dans des fréquences multiples dans un système Ethernet sur câble coaxial (EoC) multibande.
