A method and apparatus for processing device trigger information. The method comprises: an Internet of Things service platform sends a first device trigger message to an underlying network for triggering a device registered on the Internet of Things service platform and saving a first identifier corresponding to the first device trigger message; and the Internet of Things service platform sends a second device trigger message to the underlying network, wherein the second device trigger message carries the first identifier, and the second device trigger message is used for instructing the underlying network to cancel or update the first device trigger message according to the first identifier. The present application solves the problem that a device trigger method cannot cancel or update a device trigger message, and realizes the cancellation or update of the trigger message.
