Abstract | The present invention relates to methods for providing improved vigour, and especially priming or improving root formation, of plant cuttings and to plant cuttings, amongst others, obtainable by the present methods. Specifically, the present invention relates to methods for improving the vigour of plant cuttings, wherein the method comprises the steps of a) contacting a plant cutting with a polymeric solution, or suspension, optionally comprising one or more plant growth promoting and/or plant protecting compounds, thereby providing a coated plant cutting; b) allowing the polymeric solution, or suspension, of the coated plant cutting to solidify into a complexed coating thereby providing an encapsulated plant cutting; wherein said encapsulated plant cutting is coated with the complexed coating from the basal cut surface or tip of the plant cutting to less than 60% of the total length of said plant cutting to partially encapsulate the plant cutting with the complexed coating.
La présente invention concerne des procédés permettant de fournir une vigueur améliorée et notamment d'amorcer ou d'améliorer la formation de racines de boutures de plante et sur des boutures de plantes, entre autres, pouvant être obtenues selon lesdits procédés. Plus particulièrement, la présente invention concerne des procédés permettant d'améliorer la vigueur de boutures de plantes, le procédé comprenant les étapes consistant à a) mettre en contact une bouture de plante avec une solution polymère ou une suspension, comprenant éventuellement un ou plusieurs composés de protection de plantes et/ou favorisant la croissance de plantes, ce qui permet d'obtenir une bouture de plante revêtue ; b) permettre à la solution polymère, ou suspension, de la bouture de plante revêtue de se solidifier en un revêtement complexe, ce qui permet d'obtenir une bouture de plante encapsulée ; ladite bouture de plante encapsulée étant revêtue du revêtement complexe à partir de la surface de coupe de base ou de la pointe de la bouture de plante à moins de 60 % de la longueur totale de ladite bouture de plante pour encapsuler partiellement la bouture de plante dans le revêtement complexe. |
