Summary: | Provided are a gateway, an Internet of Things (IoT) platform and service optimization processing method. Alarms are classified and separately stored in a gateway, an IoT platform, i.e., an M2M platform, and a cloud server. Upon receipt of an alarm from a terminal, the gateway first determines whether a solution corresponding to the alarm exists; if so, the resolution is returned to the terminal, and if not, the gateway transmits the alarm message to the M2M platform, and the M2M platform determines whether a solution corresponding to the alarm exists. If so, the solution is returned to the gateway, and if not, the M2M platform transmits the alarm message to the cloud server. Next, the cloud server looks up a solution corresponding to the alarm and returns the solution to the M2M platform. Thereby, an alarm can be quickly and properly processed without manual operation, and the load of the gateway is reduced.
