Abstract In order to reduce a frictional force between a pointer spindle 18 and a pointer spindle 18 support member, thereby stabilizing the indication accuracy of a pointer 17, a magnetic body 22 which reduces a force attracting a permanent magnet 19 to a permanent magnet 21 is provided on the opposite side of the permanent magnet 19 to the side on which the permanent magnet 21 is disposed. In this way it is possible to reduce the frictional force between the pointer spindle 18 and the member supporting the pointer spindle 18, and it is therefore possible to obtain stable indication accuracy of the pointer 17.
