Abstract The present invention relates to a waste pickup system comprising: a waste inlet port for measuring the weight of waste and transferring the waste to a collection location through a transfer means; and a payment and inlet port control device including: a card reader for reading a payment means carried by a user; a central processing device for calculating and outputting a waste disposal charge from a signal for the weight of the waste received from the waste inlet port, and processing payment of the waste disposal charge using card information read from the card reader; and an inlet port opening/closing part for controlling opening and closing of a door of the waste inlet port, the waste pickup system further comprising an impedance matching transformer which is connected in parallel to a communication line connected to a control device of the collection location so as to measure the average communication level of the communication line.
