Provided is a lubricating oil composition comprising: a base oil (A) that includes a compound (A1) which is an ester or ether and has two or more aromatic rings; and a polyalkylene glycol (B) blended with the base oil (A). The lubricating oil composition has a high density (a high bulk modulus of elasticity), a high viscosity index, and excellent shear stability. L'invention concerne une composition d'huile lubrifiante comprenant: une huile de base (A) qui comprend un composé (A1) qui est un ester ou un éther et comprend deux ou plusieurs cycles aromatiques; et un polyalkylène glycol (B) mélangé avec l'huile de base (A). La composition d'huile lubrifiante présente une densité élevée (un haut module d'élasticité volumique), un indice de viscosité élevé, et une excellente stabilité au cisaillement. 　エステル又はエーテルであり、芳香族環を２個以上有する化合物（Ａ１）を含む基油（Ａ）に、ポリアルキレングリコール（Ｂ）を配合してなる、潤滑油組成物を提供する。当該潤滑油組成物は、高密度（高体積弾性係数）であり、粘度指数が高く、且つ、優れたせん断安定性を有する。
